MJ Kaufman’s OUTLAW JEAN at Fresh Ink

“It just seemed to me that either the outlaw got married and settled down with a family or was murdered,” he says. “And I thought, wow, that’s a really limiting binary of good and evil.”

See it now through November 16 at Fresh Ink Theatre Company.

Outlaw Jean’s got a $100,000 reward to her name and a reputation for ruthlessness. But to get to the top of the outlaw heap she has to face the biggest outlaw challenge of all: go back to her bedbug-infested childhood home on Loosenoose Road and get her mama’s blessing.
