Foundry playwright Bill D’Agostino’s new play MURRAY THE ELF AND THE CASE OF THE STOLEN SLEIGHBELLS, co-written with Carrie Nielsen, will premier December 20th at Act II Playhouse in Ambler, PA. The production is directed by Tony Braithwaite and stars Will Dennis as Murray and Andy Shaw as everyone else in Toyland.
This is the third Murray the Elf mystery D’Agostino has written for Act II Playhouse. The plays center on Murray, an elf who solves crimes in Toyland for Mrs. Claus. D’Agostino describes the plays as quick-change comedies for kids: part Charles Ludlam, part Encyclopedia Brown, and part Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. This third installment of the series marks the first collaboration between Murray and co-writer Nielsen, his wife.
MURRAY THE ELF AND THE CASE OF THE STOLEN SLEIGHBELLS opens tomorrow and runs through December 28th at Act II Playhouse.
